We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting if you tell us that you wish this to happen.

    You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998. A small fee will be payable. If you would like a copy of the information held on you please write to the Oxford and Cambridge Alumni Wine Society, 27 Sibella Road, London, SW4 6JA.

    If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible, at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

     

     

    Membership Subscription and Tickets Terms


    The number of members is strictly limited. A waiting list will operate once the requisite number of members is reached.

    Subscriptions are annual and run from January 1st to December 31st. Membership will be renewable from November 1st each year.

    Members joining after January will pay a quarterly pro-rata amoun as follows: full annual fee if joining in January - March; 3/4 annual fee if joining in April - June; 1/2 annual membership if joining in July - September and 1/4 annual fee if joining in October - December.

    Renewal of membership subscriptions will be due from November 1st. Members who do not renew (whether automatically or otherwise) by December 1st will have their membership cancelled and allocated to those on the membership waiting list.

    By paying an annual subscription for membership of the Oxford and Cambridge Alumni Wine Society UA members are entitled to apply for tickets to the Society's monthly wine tastings. These tasting will be subject to a small ticket fee. These tasting will be of extremely high quality, showcasing some of the finest wine producers available (see the producers page for further details.)

    The number of tickets available for each tasting will be limited (by room size at the Oxford and Cambridge Club) and allocated on a first-come first-served basis. Tickets will be released three weeks before the relevant tasting.

    As tickets are limited for each tasting, the Oxford and Cambridge Alumni Wine Society can not guarantee that members will be able to attend every tasting that they wish to do so.

    Tickets can not be refunded but can be re-sold to other members of the Society once all available tickets have been sold. This will be effected by way of a online waiting list and waiting list email address.

    Membership subscribed to is in The Oxford and Cambridge Alumni Wine Society UA and does not give members any legal interest or rights to the Oxford and Cambridge Alumni Wine Society Ltd. Members are encouraged to speak to the Executive Directors concerning any suggestions or complaints they may have and these will in turn be discussed by the board of directors.
